My academic interests are focused on how reading in digital formats influences reading comprehension. Within this topic, I have focused mainly on 1) differences on reading comprehension depending on reading media (print vs. digital), 2) how habitual reading (in print or digital) may influence the development of comprehension and reading motivation in children, and 3) how interruptions (e.g., multitasking) can influence the reading process and self-regulation (whether in single or multiple documents).
